Australian government could be months away, say experts
Earlier this year, the Infocomm Development Authority together with the Association of Information Security Professionals announced a new code of practice for Internet Service providers here. The measures were introduced under Singapore’s Infocomm Security Masterplan 2. The new code is part of a package of measures aimed at strengthening Singapore’s preparedness against cyber threats to information security. The move comes as corporations increasingly turn to the internet to carry out transactions and store confidential databases. As new systems are invented to ease workflow and improve efficiency, new problems are also encountered. More effort is needed in terms of re-employment consultation within companies before a worker reaches the retirement age of 62.
